About Double Translate

Double Translate is a new expansion on the already proven Same Language Subtitling (SLS) method. SLS has been proven to more than double the success rate of literacy amongst children and is a valuable technique in learning a language. Double Translate expands on this method with its unique translation method. The Double Translation method promotes total understanding of the language being learnt. The Double Translation of the text not only gives the obvious vocabulary benefits but also gives a great insight into the grammar and structure of the language being learnt.

Here at Double Translate, we write, translate and produce the Time Machine series ourselves. With native speakers from both languages, we can ensure all details are correct. We aim over time to release the Time Machine series in many languages and to continue expanding the series through more and more episodes.

However we are happy for authors to send through stories that they feel would suit the Double Translate method. If we feel your story would be beneficial to the Double Translate project, we will include it in our development plans.
