Here is our third learn German crossword. This one is all about German grammar so we hope you have done your homework and read our blogs :-) All answers can be worked out by reading our German grammar blog posts.

See if you can post the quickest time but no cheating please, it’s just a bit of fun :-D

PLEASE NOTE: All answers are German answers, e.g. if the answer is ’3′ you would write ‘drei’. Any answers which contain a special character will use the special character (e.g. ü ö ä and not ue, oe or ae). Check out our German Umlaut page for more information on these characters. Some answers are 2 word answers, in these cases put both words together with no space inbetween.

    Why is ‘reflexive’ wrong; isn’t it spelled the same in English and German; I’ve written it the same as it appears on your blogpost of 22/06/10 ? Thanks!

    You’re absolutely correct that ‘reflexive’ is spelt the same in English and German. However, it is not the answer to any of the clues in this crossword ;-)

  4. Yes, that’s correct Ian. “sich anziehen” is a reflexive verb. But „anziehen“ is also a separable verb. E.g. Ich ziehe mich an ;-)

  7. Hey Cora, It is a German Grammar Crossword and the answers are in German. But to make it easier for people who learn German, the questions are in English :-)
