Nostradamus, the biggest prophet of all times. Who was he really? Michel de Notredame geboren (was born) on the 14th December 1503 in Saint Remy de Provence. Nostradamus came from a good family. His father was a well respected Kaufmann (business man) in St.Remy and his mother was the daughter of the GP of the mayor of Calbia.
Nostradamus had a well protected Kindheit (childhood) and had 17 brothers and sisters. He was verheiratet (married) twice and had 2 children with his first Ehefrau (wife), that died at a very young age. He studied Medizin (medicine) in Montpelier and soon launched his first book with his prophecies. He wrote his predictions in a very dark and bible like Sprache (language), that was hardly understood then, let alone today.
He predicted Dinge (things), that no one else could even imagine. He predicted many bloody wars, that were in the far Zukunft (future), and major climate changes. Even the Finanzkrise (finance crisis) of 2008 was something he knew would happen. One of his biggest prophecies was the Terroranschlag (terror attack) on the world trade centre in New York on the 11th September 2001, in which more than 3000 people would die.
